As we receive an increasing number of questions by applicants concerning our recruitment process during Corona times, please find the most frequently asked questions below:

Are you hiring new employees during the current crisis?

Yes, we still want and need to recruit new employees and to increase our staff due to new projects. You can find our current positions here.

What does the application process look like in times of Corona?

You can still apply for a position using the “Applicant Button” in the job advertisements or enter a proactive application.

At the moment, we replace the first personal meeting with a video call via Skype for Business or a phone call, depending on your preference.  Apart from Internet access, you do not need any special technical equipment.

For a final decision, we would still like to meet you personally while obviously respecting appropriate protective measures (distance and hygiene rules).  Your protection and the protection of our employees, especially in times like these, is very important to us.

We try to keep our application process as fast as possible. Nevertheless, we kindly ask for your understanding if there might be a delay in the process due to changed circumstances. We will, however, keep you informed as usual.

Is a proactive application advisable?

Before submitting a proactive application, we recommend that you contact us beforehand in order to clarify possible requirements or fields of application. This allows you to determine whether or when a proactive application is worthwhile.

We generally like to keep in touch – also on a long-term basis – with candidates who might fit into our team, but are only available later. For this purpose we use our talent pool.

steep GmbH is a technical service provider with headquarters in Bonn and more than 30 other locations in Germany and Europe. For more than 50 years, around 800 employees have been successfully consulting and supporting industrial and public clients in the fields of IT, system, radar and measurement as well as testing technology – from development and system integration to documentation and user training.

The word ‘steep’ mirrors aspects of the service portfolio and consists of s for service, t for training, e for engineering, e for energy und p for products.
