For the second time, steep won the rebid by the Professional Development Service Erfurt for the tender “ZAW IT Specialist System Integration Bad Frankenhausen”. The project runs for a period of four years.
The Civil Training and Advanced Education for the German Army (ZAW) offers young soon-to-be regular soldiers a professional training before, during and after their period of service that can be used in a military as well as in a civil context.
The 21-month course for IT Specialists has been running under steep since May 2013 and is entering its 7th round in Bad Frankenhausen. Aside from IT specialists, we also conduct the ZAW-measures “Automotive Mechatronics Engineer” at this location. This is currently the 10th course of this type.
With three major locations in Bad Frankenhausen, Hanover and Neustadt (Holstein), steep is market leader in ZAW-training for IT specialists. The training portfolio is complemented by courses for IT System Technicians and IT Management Assistants at the locations Wunstorf and Eckenförde.
In 2017, the training-offer by steep in the field of ZAW will start with ten new courses, which will be expanded to 18 in the course of the year. Hence, up to 350 participants will be supported at the same time.
In the context of tenders by the Professional Development Service and the Ministry of Defence, steep Training conducts training measures at different locations of the Bundeswehr since 2002. Up to midyear 2016 more than 1.300 soldiers have completed an industrial vocational training (IHK) via steep in IT professions, as merchant or automotive mechatronic technician.
