From January 7-9, 2015, the Business Unit Training held a central staff meeting for all trainers and employees working nationally and internationally for the steep GmbH on the TRAINICO Campus in Wildau (near Berlin). On the first day, the individual project teams as well as the company’s central departments introduced themselves. In the second half of the day, this was followed by presentations on the latest developments in the automotive sector by Ralf Schmidt (Audi) and Thomas Valencik (steep trainer for BMW). The opening event ended with a lecture by Professor Tim Hagemann, Ph.D., from the Institute of WorkPsychology and WorkMedicine (Institut für ArbeitsPsychologie und ArbeitsMedizin) on the topic “Dynaxity”. On the 2nd and 3rd day of the event, the participants were offered a comprehensive seminar programme. The workshops included topics such as presentation skills, communication and motivation methods as well as legal regulations or quality management.
Within the scope of the event, the TRAINICO GmbH offered the participants a visit and walkthrough of their training facilities and workshop and, thus, gave them a practice-oriented insight into the company’s comprehensive training portfolio. With over 56 certified retrainings and advanced training programmes, TRAINICO offers a variety of educational measures in aviation-specific professions for beginners and professionals that is unique in Germany. Moreover, a large range of advanced training opportunities for experienced professionals are available. These span from continuation and part-66 trainings to language or soft-skills training. In part-time education, employees in the commercial sector will also have the opportunity to acquire a degree as a state-certified business administrator beginning in the spring of this year.
The Training Center Hamburg of the steep GmbH has been cooperating with the TRAINICO GmbH in aviation training for some time. Both companies plan to intensify their cooperation in the future and generate synergies in the field of technical education.
